went out to Orchard with BQ today. bought a metallic golden Mabelline Shadow Pencil to use for CNY. might match it with a pink eyeshadow base.

also went shopping for clothes with her. i ended up buying a grey dress. kimono style. my mum says i should wear it with jeans cos my legs look.. you know.. but since she didn't say it's hideous, i guess it's ok. i might choose casual over dress on CNY, but who cares? i can find accessories to make a fashion statement. i'm NOT going to go looking way too casual and not in vogue.

anyway, we were trying so many kimono tops that if i were the shopkeeper i'd be super irritated, but the shopkeeper just continued smiling at us. such nice attitude. i loved shopping there. you don't have to put up with the shopkeeper's stupid irritated/ bored-looking face that you get sometimes. the pictures show one set of what we tried that we didn't end up buying.
